Works to transform the Blue’s historic Market Place are taking shape

The Blue, situated along the Low Line in South Bermondsey is undergoing significant regeneration works centred on its historic Market Place.

The project was made possible after a community campaign led by Blue Bermondsey BID and supported be Southwark Council was successful in securing the £2m capital funding from the Mayor of London’s LEAP Good Growth Fund.

Additional improvements include better physical connections to the town centre and more greening, including a new crossing at St James Road connecting Lucey Way to a new pocket park at Blue Anchor Lane, both key routes along the Low Line.
