We need your support: Seeding Low Line Commons
The Low Line project team are delighted to have been shortlisted from 53 expressions of interest to the Mayor of London’s Green and Resilient Fund to submit a full stage 2 application to try and secure funding for the next tranche of projects being progressed through the Low Line. We now need your help and support for our full application.
Our EOI ‘Seeding Low Line Commons’ sets out four ambitious interlinked projects which will demonstrate how climate resilience and urban greening can be incorporated in the streets and spaces along the rail viaduct. The projects are being informed by the award winning Low Line Commons strategy.
The projects which will focus on America Street, Holyrood Street, Druid Street and Lucey Way are being informed by the Low Line Commons – our strategy for embedding urban greening, nature and environmental resilience at the heart of the Low Line, delivering benefits for people and wildlife.
The full application will be submitted to the Greater London Authority before Christmas, and the Low Line team are busy pulling together all the information needed. We’d love your support for our bid, so please drop us a line to info@lowline.london to find out more or tweet your support using #LowLineLDN by .
