Bikes for Business project brings sustainable change to the Low Line
Working with businesses along the Low Line, the Bikes for Business project has been busy making zero-emission cargo bike deliveries a mainstream solution for business freight. From dog walkers to law firms, the Bikes for Business initiative has helped over 175 businesses embrace pedal power, replacing diesel/petrol vehicles with more environmentally sustainable cargo bikes. Bikes for Business was funded by Impact on Urban Health and delivered by transport consultants MP Smarter Travel on behalf of partners Team London Bridge, Better Bankside, Walworth Road LEN, Blue Bermondsey, Shad Thames Area Management Partnership, Druid Street Traders, Southwark Council, and BermondseyStreet, London.
