Projects and partners are coming together to transform Holyrood Street from nondescript back street to a must-go destination on the Low Line.

Nine Lives bar at 8 Holyrood Street has taken the initiative, working with Team London Bridge to create a stylish, greenery-lined, all-weather outdoor space with a tropical vibe. It’s a great place to enjoy their modern house cocktails & craft beer, with places to sit for outdoor business meetings.

Next door at no. 7, a dramatic new meanwhile development will be popping up in the coming months ready for the summer. Architects Carlos Benton have designed a landscaped yard which will climb up the 8m flank wall, with a garden café run by a social enterprise serving tasty local produce from a new a timber kiosk. Contractors Carmel Crest, bringing in experts in joinery and greening, will be commencing work on site in the new year. The project is supported by the Good Growth Fund.
