The Low Line: London’s New Larder?

Food cluster

You are invited to an exclusive evening event on 12 November at The Hop Exchange from 6pm - 8.30pm that will examine the emerging cluster of food-related businesses in and around the railway viaduct of Bankside, London Bridge and Bermondsey.

Historically known as London’s Larder, the area is seeing a re-emergence of burgeoning food and drink businesses, and nowhere is this more evident than in the arches of the rail viaduct, from micro start-up businesses at the cutting edge of innovation to established retail and wholesale hubs.

Our speakers will highlight the value of a food cluster, showing how collaboration can benefit our food businesses and create new opportunities. And we will explore the role a food cluster can play in the Low Line concept to create a new walking destination for London, connecting diverse communities and creating new hubs of industry, jobs, creativity and entertainment.

Food and drink from the Low Line larder will be provided, of course. RSVP here
